Eastern Mass ADU was founded in 2025 by brothers David and Yosef Ellis-Rech to help Massachusetts homeowners expand their living spaces through high-quality, affordable accessory dwelling units (ADUs). Inspired by David’s growing family of five and the state’s 2025 zoning law changes, we saw an opportunity to create tailored solutions for multigenerational living, rental income, or property enhancement. With roots in Sharon, Massachusetts, and a foundation built on seven years of renovating homes through our prior venture, ERBrothers LLC, we bring hands-on expertise and a commitment to community-focused building.
We’re not about cutting corners or chasing volume. Our lean operation keeps overhead low, allowing us to deliver top-notch craftsmanship at a price that works for you. By focusing on fewer projects, we give each client our full attention, ensuring every detail—from permitting to final finishes—meets your vision and our high standards. David oversees the construction process, leveraging his engineering background and Licensed Construction Supervisor (CSL) certification to ensure precision, while Yosef drives operations and business development, streamlining every step to keep your project on track.
Our first ADU, a custom build in Sharon, is set to deliver by the summer of 2026, marking the start of our mission to transform properties across Eastern Massachusetts. David co-founded Eastern Mass ADU in 2025, driven by a vision to create thoughtful, high-quality accessory dwelling units that strengthen family connections and community living in Massachusetts. With a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, David brings a problem-solving mindset and hands-on expertise to every project. As a Licensed Construction Supervisor (CSL) in Massachusetts, David leads on-site operations, from permitting to construction, ensuring each unit is built with precision and care. Whether navigating zoning changes or framing a new build, he’s committed to creating spaces that meet the unique needs of homeowners.
Yosef Ellis-Rech

Yosef co-founded Eastern Mass ADU to address the growing demand for flexible, community-focused housing solutions in Massachusetts. A graduate of The Johns Hopkins University (Phi Beta Kappa), Yosef combines strategic insight with real estate expertise honed through roles at Hayden Glade, Barsala, and AvantStay, where he specialized in asset management, acquisitions, and underwriting. An Operations Officer in the US Army Reserve, Yosef brings disciplined leadership to project management, ensuring budgets, timelines, and projects needs align. Passionate about helping families adapt to multigenerational living or independent spaces for young adults, Yosef is dedicated to crafting ADUs that blend functionality with local character.
